Swimming at Kallithea

The operator advertises swimming in the bay, and there is a café area. Beyond that, plan simply: the ticket price above is the monument admission. Check on site what else costs extra, such as sunbeds, and do not assume they are part of the ticket.

The setting, the water and the architecture are the draw. Tourism sources also mention diving and water sports in the area around Kallithea, which suits visitors who bring their own plans.

Conditions in the sea change with the weather. Look at the signs and flags on the day and swim where it looks safe. Sea-temperature sites give around 24.6 °C as the October average for Rhodes, with observed values from 21.9 to 27.6 °C. That is an island figure, not a promise for this bay.
